smith and wollensky--right on. Wine list is incredible. Seafood appetizers--incredible. Service--incredible. The truth is a properly dry aged piece of meat is great anywhere you go, but S&W has the rest of the formula down pretty well. Hit divine bar before hand as well for a complete experience.

actually went to this place bar americain on 52nd and 6th which was good. not a steak joint. a great experience is also del friscoe's on 6th ave and 49th. awesome with great view.
also heard about petey luger's but that's in brooklyn.
