It's a tasty burrito chain that's worth a visit. The menu is simple, and if you ask for something special they'll make it for you. Chips will cost you extra, though.

The first Chipotle just opened in New York City about 2 years ago. I remember I was so excited when they started popping up around the city. However, for some reason, I've found the city locations not to be as good as the ones I used to frequent when I lived in Washington, DC. In any case, definately give it a try! They make a MUCH better burrito than Taco Bell, it's also A LOT bigger!

Chipotles are dried chile peppers, usually jalapeños, that have been smoked, and are used for cooking Mexican- and Mexican-inspired cuisine. The chiles are smoke-dried because jalapeños do not air-dry well. When dry, they are 2–3 inches long and 1 inch wide with a tan, wrinkled skin. Chipotles can be purchased in dried form, or canned and preserved in adobo sauce.

It's just like California Tortilla and Baja Fresh but with more beans. Big huge fat burritos that add 3 pounds to your weight but taste oh so good.

i thought that chipotle was a very good hot sauce. they have it at wendy's, they have it in supermarkets, and my latino co-worker gave me some from south america. wendy's is just a tad spicy, supermarket is sweet but not spicy and the south american kind is sweat on your brow hot. i think its a made up name for side sauce because its never the same. at least ketchup is always ketchup, except for when it's hunts or catsup

I like it. But it kind of sickens me that it is run by McDonalds, which after watching Supersize Me, I never will eat at again.
