Most of the Indian places on 6th st will feed you on the cheap. Any pizza place. Most diners. Any corner hot dog vender. Papaya king. Almost any Deli My favorites are Arties on the UWS and Katz's on Houston.

For Vietnamese, Nah Trang is the best - dirt cheap pho that is so yummy.
